What’s new in DocuFreezer 6.0:

New features

  • Newly integrated library for better text recognition – Tesseract OCR. It allows for multiple times faster file processing and more accurate text recognition when creating searchable PDF or TXT files thanks to the neural net (LSTM) based OCR engine

    Note: to use the TesseractOCR engine, Windows 10/11 or Windows Server 2016 or newer are required.
  • New OCR languages: Dutch, Chinese Simplified
  • Ability to convert HEIC (HEIF) images by installing the free-to-use ImageMagick application alongside DocuFreezer. By request from our customers, we added this method as an alternative to installing HEIC/HEVC codecs
  • New supported format: WebP
  • Added Polish localization
  • Updated components for better processing of HTML files and CAD drawings (DWG, DXF)
  • Updated components for better processing of Outlook PST files
  • New Resize operation that allows you to change the size of documents/images during conversion
  • Minor UI improvements
